This could be a great game. Good luck getting it ti work with more than one iPhone, or getting it to work on some networks. Crashes a lot. Really hope they fix these problems...
So much potential
Just got my iPad 2 and thought this would be a great app. Despite the poor ratings I went ahead and spent the $5
When it works it is pretty cool, but more often then not cars get stuck in an infinite spin and connections seem temperamental.
Tonight I had a friend load on her iPad and had a heck of a time getting it to work in duo mode.. At one point cars enter the tunnel, but never came out on the other side. After restarting everything (both iPads, then starting the iPhones) duo mode started to function. But when the cars got to the second iPad they were nearly impossible to control and the cars jumped from place to place. Not near as smooth as the single iPad version.
More tracks would be good. Please keep working on improving this app. It's got a lot of potential, and should not be $5 until you get the bugs out of it..
I had heard something about this game when the original iPad was released and I remembered it when I got my iPad2. I don't know if it is a problem with the iPad 2 interface interacting with code from the alpha iPad 1, but the game is completely unplayable even in iPad only mode because the car gets stuck in the wall when it hits. The clipping problem breaks the game completely, and if it were fixed, the buggy connection to other iDevices would be next on the list of priorities.
It's major feature of using an iPhone as the controller is unresponsive and not well implemented. The game should not be priced at $4.99 when it is still in such an obvious alpha state.
Fix the controls and clipping, and the game should be as amusing and novel as the idea itself.
